Privacy
Learn what browser, voting, submission, and security data outvote stores.
What outvote stores
- A signed first-party cookie remembers this browser's votes and submission allowance.
- Only a one-way browser key—not the browser's random identifier—is stored with votes and temporary submission quotas.
- A separate random first-party browser ID is kept in local storage for the total visitor counter. Cloudflare stores only its one-way digest.
- The IP is stored as a hash for 90 days to detect concentrated voting and submission spam.
- outvote has no accounts, login, or identity-provider profile storage.
